This visit actually took place on 14th June, but as usual, I'm behind with blogging.

I was 'mopping up' from my previous visits and added a couple of fantastic finds to those of last time.

I haven't yet mentioned what I found last time, as my blog ended at lunchtime, but that afternoon, I changed my strategy and began looking for material not just from Canadian files, but going back over the British forces who had preceeded them, not just in East Sussex, but those who also held a neighbouring divisional area.

This yielded a few more useful documents and precise changeover dates between divisions, but I then hit a seam of unbelieveably fantastic papers which I'll discuss in a subsequent post.
